We are delighted to announce that the NatWest Group is supporting Scarborough’s hosting of the Armed Forces Day national event on 25 June as an official gold sponsor.

NatWest Group is proud to support the Armed Forces and has pledged to introduce and maintain a number of initiatives for military customers through its brands which include Holt’s Military Banking.

The group also provides bespoke help for colleagues, whether they are spouses or partners of serving personnel, veterans or reservists through its Armed Forces Employee Led Network.

Alison Rose, group chief executive, said:

“Armed Forces personnel make a vital contribution to the peace and stability of communities throughout the world during both conflict and peacetime – the latter most recently demonstrated by their exemplary response to the Covid 19 pandemic.

“We are incredibly proud to support the Armed Forces Day national event, and our commitment to the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant shows that no member of the Armed Forces Community will face any disadvantage in accessing banking services with NatWest.

“We look forward to participating and supporting our Armed Forces at the event in Scarborough and at local events throughout the whole of the United Kingdom.”

Since 2015, NatWest Group has been a committed signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant.

As a newly reinstated Ministry of Defence Gold Employer Award Holder and Corporate Partner, it fully recognises the sacrifice the Armed Forces, their families and veterans make to society.

We are very grateful to NatWest Group and Holt’s Military Banking for its support.
