There are two cliff lifts in the borough. They're not run by the council so please check their websites for the lates prices and opening times.
Central Tramway Company
Runs from St Nicholas Cliff to the Foreshore Road in the south bay.
Established in 1881, the Central Tramway is the oldest surviving tramway company in the country.
Opens on the 2nd Saturday in February and closes on the 1st Sunday in November.
The daily core opening times are 9.30am to 4.45pm, 7 days a week.
The cost to travel is 75p each way.
