We welcome and encourage pre-application discussions on development proposals.

We can help with:

• Establishing whether your application is likely to be granted
• Understanding national and local polices and how they may affect your application
• Reducing delays in the process by helping you prepare your proposal
• Identifying if specialist input will be needed

This advice is given without prejudice to the final recommendation on the proposal, which will be made in the light of consultation responses and detailed consideration of the application.

There is a fee for this service. The scale of fees are below.
