Coach parking
There is dedicated Coach Parking available on Scalby Mills (6 Spaces) and William Street (33 Spaces).
Disabled parking
If you are a disabled driver or have a disabled passenger in your vehicle and are travelling to the Open Air Theatre, then we recommend parking in the Northstead Lower Car Park.
The car parking spaces are on a first come, first served basis, therefore it is recommended that you arrive early to ensure a parking space which is suitable for your needs.
If the Northstead Lower Car Park is full, then we recommend parking on Royal Albert Drive. The path from this car park to the theatre is flat and therefore may be more suited to those in a wheel chair. It is an approximate 10-15 minute walk to the Open Air Theatre from Royal Albert Drive and may therefore not be suitable for those who are unable to walk far.
Traffic updates
We recommend that motorists tune in to Yorkshire Coast Radio (96.2 FM) to keep up to date with the traffic/ parking situation on their journey to the theatre.
Parking suspensions
Parking will be suspended on the main road directly in front of the Open Air Theatre (A165 Burniston Road) on event nights.
This is mainly to ensure pedestrian safety. It will also allow a free flow of traffic in the area. The suspension in place will mean that there can be no parking, stopping or waiting on Burniston Road. Drivers who are dropping off/ picking up passengers on event nights are asked to do so on Royal Albert Drive.
