Open Air Theatre parking
This car park is an approximate 20-25 minute walk from the Open Air Theatre, however it is a large car park and drivers may prefer to park in this area and walk rather than be caught in the congestion of traffic in the smaller car parks closer to the Theatre.
To walk to the theatre, leave the car park through the main entrance, turn right onto Dean Road and follow it along to the roundabout. At the roundabout turn right down Columbus Ravine. Follow Columbus Ravine all the way down past Peasholm Park. Cross at the pedestrian crossing to access the main entrance of the Open Air Theatre.
When leaving the car park drivers can turn left, this will lead you into the town centre areas, follow signs for A64 to York and the A165 to Filey and Bridlington. Drivers can turn right and follow the same route they walked to head towards the A165 road to Whitby and areas north of Scarborough.
