Information Access Officer - Veritau

Salary: £20,092 - £24,982 (depending on qualifications and experience) Location: Flexible Job term: Permanent

We are looking for an Information Access Offier to support our public sector clients to manage and respond to Freedom of Information and Subject Access requests.

The Veritau group provides internal audit, counter fraud, risk management and information governance related services to councils, schools and other public sector clients. Veritau is also the appointed Data Protection Officer for a number of councils, multi academy trusts and schools.

You will assist in the delivery of high quality services to our clients.  The role includes providing advice and guidance to to clients, coordinating responses, updating systems and preparing reports.  You will also regularly communicate with those people and organisations requesting information.

You should be able to manage your own time, develop good working relationships with clients and be able to communicate effectively.  You should also be confident and have good organisational skills. 

The successful candidate should have administrative experience, preferably gained within thepublic sector.  Experience of handling Freedom of Information and Subject Access requests would also be an advantage but training will be provided if required.
