We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Communications and Marketing on behalf of Scarborough Borough Council.
This is an amazing opportunity for the right person to lead a small communications team at a council that is going places and serves one of the UK’s leading visitor destinations.
The role is for a senior, high calibre public sector communications specialist with:
- Leadership and management experience able to inspire teams
- Political nous
- Strong influencing and relationship management skills
- A strong track record in delivering across all competencies, including media, digital, behaviour change campaigns, internal communications and marketing
- A strategic thinker who understands the science behind communications and wants to push boundaries of innovation by embracing new technology and thinking.
