Scarborough Spa is situated in South Bay, Scarborough. The venue is used for conferences, exhibitions, entertainment, live music and events such as the Scarborough Spa Orchestra and the annual Scarborough Jazz Festival.
With so much going on and our desire to keep our facilities clean and safe for our visitors, this is where you come in. We’re looking for General Service Assistants (Domestic) to join our Team here at Scarborough Spa.
The role
As our Domestic General Services Assistant, you will assist in the day-to-day running and delivery of the facilities, entertainments & functions provided by the Service and to ensure that the front line operation provides excellent customer service.
Your duties will include:
- Undertaking regular cleaning and polishing ensuring a high standard of hygiene at all time
- Regular cleaning of all equipment and accessible areas across the entire service
- External areas are kept clean and tidy
- Stock management of cleaning materials
- Complying with Health & Safety legislation & COSHH regulations
Our core opening hours will be between 08:00am and 5.00pm 7 days a week but there may be a requirement to work beyond the standard times at night and weekends.
