Local Support for Council Tax fraud
Local Council Tax Support fraud are investigated by our counter-fraud providers Veritau.
Benefit fraud can include:
- Making a false statement when applying for benefits, by not providing correct information or omitting any information.
- Intentionally failing to report a change of circumstances, for example, a partner moving into a property which receives benefits, or changes to income or total amount of money a person holds whilst they receive benefits.
