Yorkshire Coast Community Led Local Development (CLLD) project

On 1 April the single new council for North Yorkshire launched replacing Scarborough Borough Council and other local authorites in North Yorkshire.

To find your Councillor or to view minutes, meetings and agendas please visit the North Yorkshire Council website.

The Yorkshire Coast Community Led Local Development (CLLD) project, part funded by the European Union, has invested close to £6million in the most disadvantaged communities in Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington since 2018, helping people move into work and supporting businesses to start and grow.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is the accountable body for the project, with Scarborough Borough Council as a partner. The project has its own dedicated website at Advantage Coast | Improving opportunities for people and businesses along the Yorkshire Coast.

The programme has been extended and is now due to come to an end in December 2022.

If you would like to speak to someone about the project please contact Steve Marsh, Employment and Skills Manager on 01723 232324, email steve.marsh@scarborough.gov.uk
