New bins (green or blue)

On 1 April the single new council for North Yorkshire launched replacing Scarborough Borough Council and other local authorites in North Yorkshire.

You may need a new bin if:

  • You've just moved in
  • Your bin is missing
  • The main body of the bin is split

Order a new bin >

A new green or blue bin is £20. 
Repairs or replacements for worn-out bins are free.

 The charge is an administration fee and all bins remain the property of Scarborough Borough Council. No refunds can be provided, we recommend looking for your bin prior to ordering a replacement. You are only able to have one green bin per property, if you are found to have two green bins then we will look to remove one, irrespective of payment.
