More about the annual canvass

Every year the elections office is required by law to confirm whether the details we hold on the electoral register for every household in the borough are correct. This is known as the annual canvass.

This year’s annual canvass will be carried out between July and November to ensure the electoral register is updated for publication on 1 December 2021. We will send out communications to those electors who have provided us with an email address or mobile number with details on how to respond to the annual canvass.
