Facilities
The Indoor Pool is situated on Ryndle Crescent, Scarborough.
The centre operates a comprehensive timetable that includes Child
and Adult swimming lessons. Facilities include:
- Children’s pool (12.5 x 7.3 metre) and a six lane main pool (25
x 12.5 metre)
- Fully air conditioned fitness suite
- Vending machine cafeteria
Adjacent to the pool is a large ‘Pay and Display’ car
park.Centre customers will be refunded part of their parking
charge on production of the relevant ticket.
FREE GYM INDUCTIONS are available for a limited
period when you contact the Indoor Pool.
Timetables
Swimming Lessons
The Scarborough Indoor Pool offers a variety of swimming
lessons for all which include:
SEASHELLS - especially designed to
introduce babies (up to 12 months) and young children (12 to
24 months) to water.
DUCKLINGS - for the under 5’s, both Seashells & Duckling
classes require a parent or carer
to accompany the child in the water under the
supervision of the instructor.
RAINBOW CLASSES - are designed for children aged 5 years and
upwards and cater for beginners, intermediate, advanced and pre -
competition. Courses for all abilities are bookable in advance and
normally last for 10 weeks. Condensed courses of lessons are
available Monday to Friday during the School holidays.
ADULT SWIMMING LESSONS are also available for beginners
to advanced levels. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO LEARN! Adult classes
have exclusive use of the pool and take
place on a Monday evening.

FAQ
How do I book Swimming Lessons or an Induction for
the Fitness Suite?
Call our reception on +44(0)1723 367137 or pop down to the
pool and one of our friendly team will assist you with your
booking.
How much is the induction?
Free for a limited period.
Is your Car Park Free?
Centre customers will receive a refund of £1.00 between
March - April inclusive & during October. The refund
will be £1.50 between June & September inclusive (up
to one hour) or £2.00 (up to two hours) between
March & October inclusive on production of the correct
section of the parking ticket . Normally parking is free from
November to February inclusive.
Are the any times that the centre is closed for
maintenance?
The pool will be closed for annual maintenance in December for
about two weeks.
What is Pay as You Go?
Customers pay for their activity at the time of booking or at
the time they visit the centre for their activity.
