Whitby Tide Tables
Whitby Harbour Office produces its own tide tables and they are
usually available by November each year for the following year.
They can be purchased at the Harbour Office, Marina Office and
the Tourist Information Centres. You can send a cheque or
postal order for £1.10 (2013 price) with a stamped addressed
envelope to the Whitby Harbour Office who will return one to you by
post.
Scarborough Tide Tables
Scarborough Harbour Office produces its own tide tables and they
are usually available by November each year for the following
year.
They can be purchased at the Harbour Office, Lighthouse and Port
Control. You can send a cheque or postal order for £1.10
(2013 price) with a stamped addressed envelope to the
Scarborough Harbour Office who will return one to you by post.
The data is provided by the National Oceanography
Centre and they can provide data for today and the next
six consecutive days for many British and Irish ports.
Tide tables can also be purchased at a wholesale price to many
local businesses and shops.
Whitby Swing Bridge
The Whitby Swing Bridge times adhere strictly to the tide tables
produced by the Whitby Harbour Office.
