Launching and recovery facilities
Annual unlimited
launch permits can be purchased by arrangement with the Harbour
Office. Vehicle and trailer must be removed from the slipway
area once vessel launched.
We do not ask to see insurance documents but you are required to
sign the launch slip stating that you are insured to a minimum of
£1,000,000 third party liability. We do not provide a launch
and recovery service. Car parking charges are separate and
applicable.
Whitby Harbour
The slipway is located at the southern end of the marina car
park and is not accessible on low water spring tides.
Please contact Marina/Harbour Office for further guidance.
Launch permits can be purchased from the Marina/Harbour
Offices.
Scarborough Harbour
There are two slipways available for the public and these are
located on Sandside. Launch permits can be purchased from the
Lighthouse or Harbour Office.
Filey Coble Landing
The slipway is located on Church Ravine. Launch permits
can be purchased from the ‘Sugar Shack’ café.
