Procurement
Procurement at Scarborough Borough Council is the responsibility
of Procure North Yorkshire, a procurement partnership which aims to
develop a strategic and collaborative public procurement
programme between the following authorities:
- Ryedale District Council
- Scarborough Borough Council
- Selby District Council
The Councils jointly spend £53 million every year on supplies,
services and works needed to deliver services to the public in all
areas. How well we procure these requirements has a critical
impact on our performance and ability to provide value for
money.
The partnerships Joint Procurement Strategy sets out the
over-arching framework which will help to ensure that together our
procurement delivers excellent value and supports the attainment of
the three councils’ priorities and visions.
