There are 10 Friends groups across the Borough supported by Parks and Countryside Services staff, many of which the individual Friends group organises. The Friends groups are listed below:

Volunteers

A successful Volunteers in Parks scheme is run by Parks and Countryside Services in Scarborough Whitby and Filey. They meet once a fortnight and learn new skills such as pruning, bedding and fencing. This scheme is open to all and offers the chance to meet new friends, how much time or effort you contribute is up to you.
