Deadline for Voice your Choice funding submissions
1 May
2012
Scarborough community groups and organisations only have a few
days left to submit their applications for the Voice Your Choice
2012 funding scheme, with the closing date of Wednesday 9 May fast
approaching.
Grants of up to £2,000 are available to help deliver
environmental projects in the Scarborough area. Projects must
benefit residents of the central urban area of Scarborough and be
based around improving our built and natural environment.
The scheme, which is run jointly by Scarborough Borough Council
and the Urban Area Forum, has over £19,000 in its pot which has
been funded by the Central Urban Area Committee.
Eligible applications will be put forward to a public
decision-making event which will be held in June where residents of
the central urban area of Scarborough can vote for the projects of
their choice.
