The council will also make
former borough Mayor and councillor, Mrs Lucy Haycock, an Honorary
Alderman of the Borough of Scarborough in recognition of her

"It is with great pleasure that we ask Full Council to
endorse these honorary positions in recognition of the hard work
and commitment they have each given to the borough over many
years. We also recognise the high regard in which they are
held by local people and the many things they have achieved as
ambassadors for the area in which they live and work."
