Find out more about ‘Voice your Choice’ scheme
28 September

A community drop-in event about the ‘Voice your Choice’ funding
scheme is being held on Monday 3 October, 3.00pm until 6.00pm in
the Large Annexe Allatt House on West Parade Road, Scarborough.
Members of local community groups and organisations are invited
to pop in for a coffee and find out more about the Voice your
Choice fund which was launched in August this year. Officers from
Scarborough Borough Council will be on hand to offer advice and
assistance to potential applicants of the funding scheme where
grants of up to £1,000 are available to support projects which
promote art, culture and sport.

Officer said:
“The ‘Voice Your Choice’ scheme is an entirely unique way of
allocating public funds, where local residents have the final say
on which projects get the go-ahead.
“The grant scheme is open to local community groups and
organisations that are looking to deliver projects for the benefit
of residents in the Scarborough urban area so please come along to
the event to find out more.”
