Mammal trapping event gets thumbs up

Despite the rain, the mammal trapping event held over the
weekend of 16 and 17 July was a great success.
Friends of Filey Parks held the annual event at Filey Dams and
it was well attended by children and adults, undeterred by the
weather.
Linda Cooke, Chair of Friends of Filey Parks, said:
“It was a great event as always and all the people who braved
the elements to come had a great time.
“It’s a great way to learn about nature while having fun and we
will continue to run these kinds of events as they benefit the
whole community.”
