Yorkshire in Bloom judges visit Osgodby
12 July

Bloomers from Osgodby are getting ready to welcome Yorkshire in
Bloom judges on the afternoon of Friday 15 July.
Judges will view the boat bed and refurbished beds on the
village green as well as the raised beds on Osgodby Hill top. They
will also meet members of the Community Association, council
members and children at Overdale School.
Osgodby in Bloom Secretary Lynn King said:
“The main development for the judges to see is the triangular
beds on Osgodby Lane. One is maintained by the Bloom group and the
other is a joint effort and will be a memorial garden, opening on
Wednesday (13 July).
“Flyers are being delivered along the judging route and we hope
that people will place them in their windows so the judges can see
their support.
“The spring judging went very well and the village is looking
clean and tidy. We’re looking forward to welcoming the judges to
Osgodby.”
