How to Apply
An application form must be completed to apply for any of the
Scarborough Car Park Permits. Application forms can be obtained by
attending the Customer First Centre, or alternatively contacting
the Parking Services Office, where an application form can then be
sent via post.
To obtain a permit all sections of the application form must be
completed and signed to state that the applicant agrees to the
terms and conditions of the use of the permit.
All relevant proof must be provided before a permit can be
issued.
Permits are issued detailing specific vehicle registration
numbers, if a permit is displayed within a vehicle with a different
registration number, that vehicle is liable to receive a Penalty
Charge Notice.
If a change of vehicle is made an amendment must be made to the
permit.
The permit remains the property of Scarborough Borough
Council.
If the permit is no longer required, it must be returned to
Parking Services.
Changed your vehicle?
Should you purchase a new vehicle and therefore need a new
vehicle registration adding onto your permit, this must be done as
soon possible.
If proofs are required (such as vehicle registration documents
or insurance documents), these must be provided for the new vehicle
to allow an amendment to be made.
