Northstead Lower car park

Situated adjacent to Peasholm Park, near Scarborough Indoor Swimming Pool. Close to North bay, is suitable for visiting Peasholm park, the indoor pool, the new Sands development and the North Bay Railway, which runs to Scalby Mills and the Sealife Centre.

Open Air Theatre parking

This is a smaller car park and fills very early on show days so  drivers are advised to use Northstead Upper and Burniston Road Car Parks for event parking.

When leaving this car park vehicles can turn left down Northstead Manor Drive to the junction with Burniston Road. At this point vehicles will be advised to turn left onto A165 for Whitby, Scalby and Burniston and right for A64 York, A170 Thirsk and A165 Bridlington.

Or alternatively, for journeys North via Whitby, turn right when exiting the car park onto Northstead Manor Drive, then left onto Ryndle Crescent following the temporary direction signs for Burniston Road Car park. There will be two signs directing vehicles along Ryndle Crescent. At the junction of Ryndle Crescent with Weydale Avenue there will be a Right Turn direction sign.

At the junction of Weydale Avenue and Burniston Road there will be a left turn direction sign taking vehicles onto Burniston Road pointing North.
