Duty of Care
The duty of care is a law which states that if you produce,
import, store, transport, treat or dispose of waste you must
take reasonable steps to keep it safe. If you give your waste
to anyone else they must be authorised to take it.
The Environment Agency
can advise you further about the Duty of Care and how
this affects you.
