Consultation in Staintondale
Residents in
Staintondale, near Scarborough, are invited to attend a public
consultation regarding proposals to build new affordable housing in
the village.
The ‘open evening’ will be held in
Staintondale Village Hall on Thursday 16 October between 6.00pm and
9.00pm and will be attended by staff from Sanctuary Housing
Association and Scarborough Borough Council.
Sanctuary Housing Association has worked in
partnership with Staintondale Parish Council and Scarborough
Borough Council in developing the proposals for the new homes,
which would be built to meet local housing needs. They are
now seeking the views of local people. Residents will have
the opportunity to discuss the proposals during the evening and to
give their views.
Frank James, Chair of the Parish Council
said:
“Staintondale Parish Council
is delighted that Sanctuary Housing is now in a position to hold an
open evening for people to view the proposed affordable housing
development in Staintondale. We hope that as many people as
possible will attend to look at the proposals and to register their
comments.”
