Economic information and analysis

The overall aim of the Council's Economic Development unit is to improve the quality of life for residents in the Borough by improving job opportunities, increasing levels of employment and investment and making local communities both safer and more sustainable.

We work closely with partner agencies to identify the issues that face both the Borough’s residents and businesses and use this data to establish programmes that will create job opportunities and encourage business growth and inward investment.
