Young and Old Invited to Share Experiences at Scarborough Urban Area Forum
Scarborough residents of all ages are invited to attend the
next Scarborough Urban Area Forum on Wednesday 12 December at 7pm
at Scarborough Library on Vernon Road.
The Forum will be themed around issues concerning young people
in Scarborough and will be an opportunity for residents of all ages
to learn about some of the good work that is currently going on
with young people from the town.
There will be presentations from the Friends of Royal Albert
Park, the Barrowcliff’s Got Talent Project and the U-Turn and
Cop-a-lot projects. There will also be opportunities for
those present to share their experiences of young people’s
provision with others from their area of the town and to suggest
ideas of how young people’s services could be improved.
Young people are especially welcome to attend and share their
views and opinions on the services and facilities that are provided
on their behalf. There will also be a chance for people to
ask questions to a panel of young people’s service providers
including representatives from North Yorkshire County Council and
Foundation Housing.
There will be free refreshments including pizza for all those
attending. For more information please contact Matthew Joseph
on 01723 383562 or email
