multicoloured chalets offer daytime freedom for all the

Situated beside the sea the chalets are well equipped and are
available to hire daily or weekly.

Q. How do I go about booking a beach
chalet?
A. To book a chalet,
please either complete a copy of the beach chalet booking
form and return, or simply contact the Tourism Bureau.

chalets?
A. To check on the availability of the
chalets, simply contact the Tourism Bureau.
Q. How much do the beach chalets cost?
A.
The chalets vary in cost depending on the time of year, prices can
be found on the chalet booking form, or full details can be
obtained from the Tourism Bureau.
Q. Where about are they situated within the
town?
A. The chalets are situated along the beach front along both the
North and the South bays in Scarborough. They can also be found
along sandside at the foot of Whitby's West Cliff and along the
promenade at Filey Bay.
Q. How long can we book a chalet for?
A. Chalets are available to book from March 29th until 27th
September. Due to the popularity and high demand for chalet
bookings during the school summer holidays, bookings will be
limited to a maximum period of two weeks in July and August.
Q. What equipment is provided in the
chalets?
A. Scarborough and Filey chalets are
furnished with four chairs, table, cupboard and electric
kettle. Electricity is included. Whitby chalets have two
chairs, one bench and hinged table. Gas and electricity are not
supplied.
Q. What happens if we need to cancel our
booking?
A. Administration expenses will be charged as follows:
Cancellation, transfer or variation of booking - £7.50. No refund
will be given if cancellation is received less than 14 days before
the term of the let.
Q. How far in advance can I book the
chalets?
A. Provisional bookings will be accepted from 1st January for
the following season. Every effort will be made to ensure that your
choice is fulfilled. If this is not possible then an
alternativechalet as close as possible to your choice will be
offered. Bookings will be confirmed in writing.
