Travelling by Car

The Borough of Scarborough can be reached by road nationally from the A1 or M1, both run close to York in North Yorkshire.
 
There are good road links into the Borough from Leeds and York using the A64 , other key roads include the A171 Middlesbrough - Whitby - Scarborough road, the A165 Scarborough to Filey and the A170 Scarborough to Thirsk roads.
