Scarborough Borough Council and Welcome to Yorkshire are pleased to confirm that tickets have now sold out for the Olly Murs concert at Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre.

Olly joins American singing legend Dionne Warwick on Wednesday 6 June and boy band stars JLS on this summer’s bill who will be joined by Special Guest, Alexandra Burke on Saturday 18 August. Tickets are still available for both of these shows and can be purchased online via www.ticketmaster.co.uk

Russell Watson, the British Tenor is the latest Open Air Theatre act to be announced and he will perform at the venue on 4 August, tickets for this show will be on sale shortly.

Welcome to Yorkshire Area Director, Janet Deacon, said:

“We’re delighted that tickets for this major act at the Open Air Theatre have sold out so quickly. Social media has played a very important part in the promotion of this event, with many businesses and individuals spreading the word via facebook and twitter. Tickets have also been massively boosted because Olly himself is a real hit, he was incredibly popular on his stint on The X Factor and his career has been further boosted by co-presenting The Xtra Factor last year. His gigs are rumoured to be really entertaining and demand for his concert tickets are at all time high. We are really looking forward to enjoying a fantastic evening with him in July.”
