A domestic collection will be made from any property where
Council Tax is paid.
The householder can usually book this bulky item service
in advance and there may be a charge for the collection.
How to book a bulky item collection
Scarborough Borough Council are now offering you 2 ways to
book bulky item collections, offering more choice in the
delivery of our services.

Please telephone Customer First on 01723
232323 and ensure you give the following
information:
- Your full name, address and contact telephone number.
- The EXACT items to be collected
- The location of the item;
- Easily accessible to the front or rear of your property
- Any additional information such as difficult access for a large
vehicle to your road
- Your credit / debit card details
Special requirements can be made for the elderly or
disabled.
If you book a collection in person at the following 4
Customer First Centres, then you are able to pay by cash or by
cheque.
